Heyyyyy! I’m Italy (yes, just like the country :)
I'm a born and bred Jersey baby who’s been entranced by the magic of poetry since I could remember. As a kid, my curiosity was unlimited, so I dipped my toes in all artistic mediums. Naturally, my favorite one was playing pretend. I immersed myself in different worlds with the help of cardboard-forts and stuffed animals. Ever since, acting has been the strongest magnet in my life—funneling the power of storytelling through me. It has been the groundwork to me becoming a spoken-word artist and expanded my horizons to NYU Tisch Drama. You may have seen me perform at the Guggenheim Museum, the renowned Apollo theatre, or the NYU Skirball Center! Poetry is embedded into my everyday life; the quiet ripple of my morning tea, consciously sharing smiles with strangers, and my home: the theater. In my free time, you may find me with a paintbrush or letting the ancestors move my body. My life is a combination of radical trust and miracles. That’s what dares me to dream boldly as an artist.
